Missions Support: Help Send the Gospel to Texas

*****UPDATE*****

By God’s grace through some generous brothers and sisters in Christ, my church Fellowship Bible Church, and Grace Church Buckhannon, my mission trip with Sports Fan Outreach International to proclaim the Gospel of Christ at Super Bowl LI in Houston, Texas is now FULLY FUNDED! Thank you to those who are holding the rope for me as I go down the well!!

Praise Yahweh Jireh!!!

*****UPDATE*****

In missions, there are two ministries, those who are called to go down into the well and those who hold the rope.  It’s my prayer that you would be willing to hold the rope for me as I go into the well to reach thousands with the Good News of the Gospel.

HOUSTON, TX – As some of our readers know, I’m an open-air evangelist commissioned by my church, Fellowship Bible Church, located in Bridgeport, WV.  I spend most of my time traveling around the Mountain State at fairs, festivals, WVU games – pretty much anywhere folks are gathered to share the life-saving message of the Gospel of Christ.

Throughout my travels in ministry I’ve had the privilege to interact with many folks who otherwise may not have heard the Good News.  The streets in the public square provide opportunities to reach people who may never set foot inside a church.  From addicts to drunkards and everyone in between, open-air evangelism puts me at ground zero absent from any fancy carpet or stained-glass windows where life is lived.  It brings to light the fact that the mess IS the ministry. (Click here to see me in action here on the streets with a young couple.)

I am humbly seeking your support for a missionary trip to Houston, TX, February 1 – 5 to minister to the crowds attending the 2017 Super Bowl.  I have an opportunity to work with an organization called Sports Fan Outreach International (SFOI ).  SFOI is an organization that sends teams all over the world to major sporting events to share the Good News.

The funds will be used for missionary costs including travel, transportation, meals, supplies, and incidentals.  As a measure of good faith and transparency, I will make available an accounting of the expenditures to donors who request it. To set your mind at ease about distractions, I do not even watch pro-football, so definitely not there to attend the game! 😉

Through the generosity folks from strangers to my church family, I have been blessed to be able to serve in the ministry God has called me to.  I would be thankful beyond words for your support no matter the amount.
