Sermon: Pulling Back the Spiritual Blinders

Ask the average churchgoer what his or her idea of evangelism is and you’ll get a mixed bag of answers. This message cuts to the heart of the issue of the most neglected part of evangelism, the telling of the Gospel message. What many fail to realize, despite how simple it is, is that like any news, the Good News must be told. Many try to “evangelize” through expensive events giving away this and that. While as Christians we’re called to care for others, if all we do is meet that worldly need, we have failed to evangelize without a key component, the Gospel message. This message was preached from Romans 10:14-17.
