Sermon: A Tragic Understanding
One of the most misunderstood doctrines of the Christian faith today is the doctrine of eternal security. Many refer to it as “once saved, always saved”. Though the “once saved…” phrase and casual mindset that accompanies it completely miss the Scriptural weight behind eternal security, the doctrine of eternal security is well supported in Scripture.
In this sermon, I spend the first part addressing why eternal security is misunderstood. The second part explores the beautiful Scriptures with a focus on Jude 17-25 and then words directly from our Lord that show the absolute, eternal security of the believer.
